Secondary Science Teacher (GCSE & A-Level) – Supply Opportunities
Location: Brighton and Hove
Hours: 08:30–15:30
Competitive daily rates of pay

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Science Teachers to join our pool of trusted supply staff, working with secondary schools across the Brighton and Hove area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Science specialist with strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics at GCSE and A-Level, who is passionate about delivering high-quality science education.

Whether you're looking for flexible day-to-day supply or more consistent long-term opportunities, we want to hear from you.

Key Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven ability to teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5/A-Level experience desirable)
  • Subject specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics – please specify in your application
  • Up-to-date Prevent and Safeguarding training (certification required)
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability in different school environments
  • Enhanced DBS (Child Only) on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via Teaching Personnel at a discounted rate)
  • Ability to reliably commute to schools in the Brighton and Hove area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
