Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with in excess of 10 secondary schools in the Altrincham, Sale and Wythenshawe area and as a result, are looking to recruit teachers who are looking for day to day supply teaching from January. Working with many of these schools, there is the requirement for teachers who are available for day to day, flexible cover teaching.
This role would be suitable for any teachers who are looking for any level of teaching work in January.
Supply teaching role:
This role would suit any teachers who are looking for flexible cover without any planning or marking responsibilities. There are options to teach your subject specialism as well as provide general cover in a range of subjects at many of these schools in the South Manchester area.
This role will suit teachers of any experience level, including newly qualified teachers and those more experienced. The role of supply teaching on a flexible basis would suit any teacher who has other commitments as there is flexibility to only teach on certain days or on a part time basis for example.
This would also suit any teachers who are potentially looking for more long term work but haven’t yet secured work. Many of the schools we work with often having long term sickness cover requirements as well as paternity covers, operational covers or day to day sickness cover that leads to weeks of cover as an example.
Highlights of the supply teaching role:
- Earn up to GBP625 per week for shorter term, day to day supply teaching depending upon experience and specific school
- Opportunity to teach on a day to day, flexible basis in line with teacher’s availability
- Options for work in over 10 secondary schools in the Altrincham, Sale and Wythenshawe area
- Ideal for those teachers who are available for any teaching work from January onwards
- Teachers of all experience levels are encouraged to apply for further information and consideration
Working with a wide variety of schools from those with challenging behaviour, to those with exemplary behaviour; there are options of different schools which will suit teachers of all backgrounds and styles. Schools are keen on teachers who present themselves well, are professional in their approach and take pride in their teaching; with many schools requesting continuity from teachers that get on well.
The schools in this South Manchester area are easily accessible with a number of them being within walking distance of the local metrolink tram stop. The schools are also regularly serviced with local buses which run in this area and the majority of our schools have great parking facilities for those that drive.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
