Secondary School Maths Teacher 

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Maths Teacher to work full time in one of our Secondary Schools in the West London area.

This role is a long-term, full-time role commencing after ASAP until the end of the academic year, with the potential to extend. The school strive to support their staff members to be the best they can be and help students to achieve their dreams, as well as help others.

As a maths teacher, your role will involve:

• Planning lessons towards KS3/KS4 Maths curriculum objectives.
• Delivering and teaching lessons with enthusiasm.
• Managing student behaviour, ensuring the classroom environment is safe and supportive of learning, and reporting to parents and other staff members when necessary.
• Sourcing the resources and supplies needed to teach lessons.
• Mark and assess the work of students.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A UK recognised QTS.
• Ideally, some experience teaching Maths to students in KS3/KS4, including GCSE.
• Be confident in using a variety of behaviour management strategies, including when presented with challenging behaviour.
• To be passionate about teaching and the impact of a high-quality education on children’s learning progress.
