Do you have a background in Secondary Education? Are you passionate about contributing to the accelerated learning of young people? TP tutors are hiring Maths Intervention Teachers across the Liverpool and Merseyside area for September starts.

We have both part time and full time roles available during term time. A standard NTP placement will run for 15 weeks (exclusive of holidays) and tutors will therefore be required to commit to each position long term. With each role, there is a possibility that they will be extended through multiple terms or even into next academic year Post session, tutors will also be required to submit sessional reports for each group each day.

Within your role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering targeted interventions that cover any missed learning and promotes accelerated learning for all pupils. You will need to communicate effectively with members of staff across the school regarding pupil progress and complete evaluation after each session for each group using LEAP, Teaching Personnel’s online portal.

To register for this role with TP Tutors, you will need to have good knowledge of the national curriculum and experience with teaching Maths to GCSE level and using syllabus such as AQA and Edexcel. It is also essential that you are able to manage and implement behaviour management strategies and have an adaptive and flexible teaching style with the ability to meet the needs of all pupils. Also, you will need to complete mandatory training such as safeguarding, prevent and tutoring modules.

As a tutor for Teaching Personnel, you will benefit from competitive hourly rates of pay (£25 - £40). You will have a dedicated tuition manager that will support you throughout your registration, placement and beyond, as well as access to a wide range of free CPD courses to further your own learning and a reward for referral program.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
