Secondary Learning Support Assistants – Wirral (CH64)
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: £95 – £100 per day
Contract: Temp-to-Perm & Long-Term Opportunities

Teaching Personnel’s Wirral branch are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the CH64 area, who are seeking dedicated Secondary Learning Support Assistants to join their team from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to support Key Stage 3 students, with a particular focus on Year 7 pupils transitioning into secondary education.

The Role:

  • Provide in-class support to KS3 students across a range of subjects
  • Assist students with additional learning needs to access the curriculum
  • Support the transition of new Year 7 students into secondary school life
  • Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO to deliver tailored support
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with young people (school-based or similar setting preferred)
  • A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting student development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
