Upper Second Class (2:1) University Graduate - Teaching Assistant (English) - Opportunity for Teacher training next academic year 2017-18!

  • Are you an Upper Second Class Graduate from Barnet?
  • Are you looking to source the best Secondary School in which to gain classroom experience and undertake your teacher training?
  • Would a Teaching Assistant role with a teacher training post at the end be of interest?

My Biggest Using Secondary Schools' Headteacher is looking to recruit an English Graduate, who are aspiring to become a Teacher, to work as Teaching Assistants in their progressive Secondary School. The Headteacher likes to develop the very best young teachers. The Secondary School is a hot-bed for young teaching talent where you will be exposed to all sides of the teaching profession. You will shadow some of the very best teachers with your specialism and gradually adopt more of a hands on role. The new Teaching Assistants will work with different sets to engage them in your subject and you will work hard to raise their attainment levels.

The Teaching Assistant posts are for the remainder of the academic year and are designed to provide you with a sustained period of time within the classroom. The new Graduate Teaching Assistants will definitely fathom whether or not teaching is the career for them and hopefully the positive experience will motivate you to take up teacher training after your year. For the most talented and committed Graduate Teaching Assistants, there will be the opportunity to take up a School Direct Teacher Training post in 2017-18.

My client school is part of a teaching school alliance which is linked to several schools in Barnet. The roles are open to those graduates throughout Barnet as the other schools could accommodate Graduates as their Teaching Assistants from now onwards before they undertake their teaching qualification next academic year.

If you think you have what it takes to succeed as the new Teaching Assistant, apply to join this sociable secondary in Barnet today! Click 'Apply Now' and send your CV to Sid at Teaching Personnel on sid.taylor@teachingpersonnel.com.

Please note: due to the volume of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted. Secure your perfect role for September through Teaching Personnel.
