Science Tutors - Tyne & Wear
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
A number of secondary schools in the Tyne & Wear Region are looking for part time and full time members of staff to provide small group and one-to-one Science tuition.
This is a great opportunity for tutors to show off their skills when supporting students that may require a little extra help with their scientific knowledge.
This will be a very rewarding position as you will see first hand the progress being made by the pupils. The role will involve providing tuition or additional classroom support to help boost levels in the subject of science.
You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with some of the schools' most attentive students and have the opportunity to work on a one-to-one or small group basis. With flexible hours ranging from a few hours to 5 days per week, you can choose the hours that suit your lifestyle.
Ideally you will have QTS and have experience of working in a British school.
If you feel you have the necessary skills for this post, please forward your CV or call the Tyne & Wear Secondary Branch on 0191 223 5074.
