With additional requirements for Science tutors in the new academic year, Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with the Headteacher at a Salford secondary school who wishes to recruit a number of Science tutors (either qualified teachers or experienced Graduates). If you would like further information regarding this exciting opportunity please see the details below.

  • Science tutor required to work within a number of schools in Salford.
  • Tutoring students at Key Stages 3/4 and at GCSE level who may need additional support in Science
  • Competitive daily pay rates - Earn up to £25 per hour depending upon experience
  • Flexible work tailored to your availability

This role is particularly suited to Science graduates wishing to gain experience within a secondary school setting prior to completing a teacher training course in the future or an experienced Science teacher aiming to take a step back from full class teaching.

This Science tutor position will require you to work alongside pupils who are in need of additional support in order to achieve their target grade; this could be on a 1:1 basis or leading small group intervention sessions. It is important that you are a calm and patient individual who has a real interest in pupil development and their achievement in class.

The schools that you will be working in will offer you complete support throughout your time in school and will provide you with all the necessary resources required to deliver effective tuition. This is a rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to have a real impact on pupil's development and learning.
