Science Tutor

A suited role for a dedicated teacher or graduate looking to raise pupil attainment in the subject across KS3 & GCSE.

• Science Tutor  -  temporary role 
• Starting December 2020 - 15 hour block per pupil
• Raising attainment across KS3 and GCSE Science in small groups and 1:1
• Competitive rate of pay GBP15 - GBP35 an hour based on experience and responsibility 
• Secondary school located in Salford (M6) - Modern and established secondary school situated next to great transport and road links 
• Post available to teachers and graduates with at least 6 months experience teaching or tutoring 
• Teaching Personnel are an approved partner of the National Tutoring Programme (NTP)

The successful Science Tutor will be able to motivate pupils to succeed and provide a well-structured learning environment. You will be supporting students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE with Science interventions to bridge the gap in learning due to the pandemic. You will work collaboratively with the Science department to devise schemes of work and identify groups of students who require additional support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
