Part Time Science Tutor Required for Online September Start
Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Science to teach KS4 Triple Science, English and Maths to a student with Autism, ADHD and Anxiety. Due to their SEMH, the student is unable to attend school, and therefore the 1:1 tuition will occur online. The student is working at their age-expected level.
About the Role:
- 1:1 Tuition for a Year 9 student with ASC and SEMH
- 17.5 hours a week, split into 5 x 3.5 hour sessions
- Online using Bramble
- Working materials and resources will need to be provided by the tutor
- Focus on Science and English
Who we are looking for:
- People who are comfortable lone working and communicating with local authorities and care home staff
- Previous experience working with ASC and ADHD
- Tutors who can plan, produce, and teach Functional Skills English and Maths
Requirements:
- Teachers with QTS
- Previous experience teaching higher grade GCSE
- Experience of teaching and working with children with ASC and SEMH
- Child workforce DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
- Based in the Nottinghamshire area, as tuition may need to change to in-person
