Science Tutor – GCSE Focus, SEMH Learners

Location: Home and school based tuition across Newcastle upon Tyne | Rate: £28–£35/hr

Deliver engaging Science tuition to secondary pupils unable to access mainstream school due to SEMH, SEN or other barriers. Students need GCSE-focused sessions or catch-up across biology, chemistry and physics.

Sessions are face-to-face in homes, schools or local community venues.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent)

• Enhanced child workforce DBS

• Strong Science subject knowledge

• Experience with vulnerable learners or SEMH needs essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
