Science Teaching position available in the Wimborne area. Join a school which is committed to being inclusive and developing excellence and achievement with all learners. With the aim of achieving excellence with each and every student, irrespective of what challenges they may face. Join an Ofsted rated 'good' school as well as having an 'outstanding' rating with regards to the leadership provided.

The school covers the three core disciplines of Biology, Chemistry and Physics aim to encourage students to ask questions about the world around them and attempt to find answers through planning, research and practical activities. These core skills not only open up potential career paths in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths), but also teach students a valuable way of thinking and approaching problems.

From learning about the human body and the Solar System to tackling issues such a climate change and making metals "fizz" on water, there is sure to be something to appeal to everybody's interests!

The Science department consists of 5 fully-furnished laboratories, all complete with interactive whiteboards, as well as a core ICT suite.
THE ROLE: 5 days per week, Science Teaching position, this is a great opportunity for a highly motivated science teacher to deliver an engaging and challenging curriculum that inspires children to appreciate and engage with what they are learning.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must hold a UK recognised teaching qualification, i.e. BSc QTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE, B.Ed
Previous UK teaching experience - Science KS3/4
A can do/proactive attitude

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
