Science Teacher, Weston-Super-Mare

Date posted : 28/02/19
£110 - £160 per day

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Role: Science Teacher

Location: Weston-Super-Mare

Pay: £110 to £160 a day dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time or part-time

Start date: Immediate or Easter

Contract: short-term, long-term or permanent

Teaching Personnel works closely with a school in Weston-Super-Mare that is looking for a Science Teacher. Depending on what you are looking for, this Science Teacher role can be long-term or short-term. Reason being, if you are the right candidate, they will offer you the long-term option but if you can't commit, the short-term role will buy the school time to recruit a permanent role.

The school is very aware of how difficult it is to find good Science Teachers so will look into job shares if you would prefer part-time.

Being a Science Teacher at this school requires planning and marking and will start immediately or in Easter (this way they can get supply cover in until Easter.)

You will be required to teach KS3 and 4 general Science up to GCSE. You must hold QTS and have UK experience and NQTs are encouraged to apply.

The school is part of a larger, local academy chain, which has a great reputation. Behaviour can be challenging so confident and solid behaviour management is required and academic achievement is high. These students need to be pushed to achieve their best results.

What's in it for you?

  • Good school with high achieving pupils and supportive SLT
  • Very competitive pay
  • No umbrella company fees
  • Referral a friend scheme - up to £100 per referral
  • Flexible working options available
  • Easy to get to with great transport links

If you are interested or want to find out more, please get in contact immediately. I look forward to hearing from you.
