Science Teacher- Warrington
Science Teacher needed for a high achieving school in Warrington.
Teaching Personnel have been approached by one of our partner secondary schools in Warrington to recruit for a Science Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a Science Teacher to join a school that is achieving the most progress of all the schools within the local area.
This position is scheduled to start from May 2018, but could start sooner given the nature of the vacancy.
- Full time teaching position of Science to Key Stages 3 & 4
- High achieving and supportive school in Warrington
- Required to start from May 2018
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917- £38,633)
Due to an upcoming planned absence within the Science department, the Head teacher of this popular and high achieving secondary school is looking to appoint a Science Teacher for a minimum of two terms in the first instance. There is also the possibility of a fixed-term/permanent contract being offered dependant upon effectiveness within the role.
The Senior Leadership team of our partner school are extremely supportive and highly regarded by all members of staff. It is average in size with just under 900 pupils on roll. Further, there is a strong sense of community spirit within the school with them winning several awards recently for their awareness on anti-bullying.
It is located in Warrington but is very close to the nearby motorways. This makes it easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Liverpool and Wigan. It also has regular public transport links direct from Warrington town centre.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
