Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Science Teacher for a School in the Newcastle to cover a maternity leave. The role is temporary until July 2019 at the moment however, does have the possibility of being extended. The key responsibilities of a successful candidate will be to plan and prepare lessons that will be delivered across the KS4-KS5 Curriculum.
The School is an 11 to 18 secondary school with approximately 1000 students and is based in North Tyneside. The school has a thriving community of students, parents, staff and governors who work together to provide an engaging learning environment which encourages students to reach their full potential.
The most recent OFSTED inspection judged the overall effectiveness of the school as Outstanding. The core values of respect, ambition and determination are demonstrated throughout the curriculum as well as within extra-curricular opportunities. Academic excellence is at the heart of the school and learning is designed to be exciting, stimulating and relevant to students' lives in the 21st century.
The School requires for April 2019 a good to outstanding Teacher of Science to join their well established, supportive and innovative team. They are looking for someone who can motivate students and enhance pupil's development in the subject in order to attain their highest potential.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has a vision for innovative learning and teaching strategies to ensure the highest standards of achievement for our students. You will have the opportunity to be paid in line with MPS/UPS - £23,720 - £39,406. Initially you would be paid at a daily rate between £100 - £140.
