Science teacher - RCT
Teaching Personnel work on behalf of schools across RCT on short and long term supply needs. A Secondary school in RCT are looking to appoint a Science teacher for full time ASAP!
The large secondary school is located in the heart of RCT. The school has 1200 pupils on roll with a higher percentage of boys on roll than girls. SEN pupils on roll at the school are below the national average with only 0.7% with SEN. The successful Science teacher would benefit from previous experience with students who have English as an additional language as 33.9% of pupils are EAL pupils this is more than double the national average. Percentage of disadvantage pupils is also more than double the national average with 64.1% of pupils on free school meals.
The successful Science teacher will be teaching all Secondary school years and all abilities. The successful Science teacher will be working with a supportive faculty with Leadership and Management. The school has a huge focus on valuing each student's achievement. The opportunity would be amazing for any newly qualified or experienced teachers. The role of the Science teacher will include working closely with the department head and coordinating according. Ideally the teacher has a DBS on the update service with suitable school based references.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
