Teacher of Science 

Join a successful secondary school in Tameside seeking to appoint a Science teacher from September 2020. This is a full time role commencing in September and running until the end of the academic year. The successful Science teacher will be given the opportunity to secure a permanent position following an introduction by Teaching Personnel. 

We welcome applications from experienced teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers looking to progress their career in a supportive and successful secondary school. 

The successful teacher will be a knowledgeable practitioner with experience of delivering KS3 and GCSE Science. They will join an encouraging and supportive department and will fully contribute towards to the development and delivery of schemes of work. We are looking for a passionate teacher of Science who will provide the highest quality teaching and learning for all students. 

To apply for this role you must have Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent and must have experience of teaching KS3 and GCSE Science.

The successful Science Teacher will join a large secondary school located in Tameside, a short drive from Manchester city centre and easily accessible by public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas. The school has been graded by Ofsted to be Good in all areas including leadership and management, teaching and learning, personal development and outcomes for pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
