Job description


A secondary school close to Plymouth require an engaging and passionate Teacher of Science to teach their key stage 3 and key stage 4 students for the rest of this academic year. The Science department at this school have a well established team of enthusiastic and supportive practitioners who will be involved with the planning and preparation as much as the successful candidate desires.

This role is to start at Easter and is full time with responsibilities such as planning, marking and preparation. There is a possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

  • Proven teaching experience with a track record of raising engagement levels in class’ across all key stages
  • The aptitude to build positive relationships with students
  • A valid DBS on the update service or be willing apply for a new one and register with the update service
