Science Teacher

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting looking for a Science Teacher to work at a school in Sheffield on a part time basis, the role is starting in the next few weeks.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow the Safeguarding Policy and the Behavioural Policy set out by the School
  • Create and follow lesson plans to meet the development needs of the students
  • Marking all students work
  • Manage classroom and student behaviour
  • Ensure you are up to date with the National Curriculum/ School Policies and any other developments that affect your specialist subject

Essential criteria:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience teaching
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other staff members and build positive relationships 
  • Strong classroom management and behavioural management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
