Pay Range: GBP140.00 to GBP200.00 per day

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school in Medway who are seeking to appoint a qualified, creative and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher who is ambitious and wants to further their career. Candidates will have the drive and motivation to continually improve the department, whilst understanding the importance of developing a positive culture.

They will work to secure outstanding provision in Science which will help to engage young people in a love of the subject.

We are looking for someone who will play a fundamental role in shaping the direction and future of the curriculum areas, as we convert, along with our partner secondary schools into Key Stage 3 and 4 schools, providing education to students from age 11 – 16 in the local area.

Both NQTs and experienced teachers are encouraged. Applications are welcome from both established and recently qualified teachers with appropriate relevant experience.

• is able to deliver lessons to Key Stage 3 & 4 students  
• is committed to raising the achievement of all learners by ensuring teaching across the curriculum is of the highest quality  
• is able to make positive relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider community
• is able to plan and deliver innovative and inspirational lessons that engage students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
