• The position: Secondary Science Teacher (KS3/KS4)
• Pay scale: Negotiable to reflect MPS/UPS 
• Start date: May 2021 

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a large secondary school in the Darlington area who are looking to recruit a passionate Science teacher. This role is full-time and will require you to teach KS3/KS4 science. The role is open to both experienced and NQTs. The school in question is privileged to have state of the art facilities, engaging technology and ICT resources, such as IPads, and a rich and vibrant extended curriculum. The school provides a curriculum that enables all students to be successful, develop a passion for learning and develop essential skills for life.

The ideal candidate:

Will:

• Be able to commit to a long-term role (May 2021 - July 2021)
• Have a respectful and professional manner towards pupils and staff within the school
• Be passionate and inspiring
• Teach all Sciences to KS3/KS4 
• Have high expectations of work and behaviour

Must:

• Hold qualified teacher status – (we welcome NQT applications)
• Have experience working with KS3 and KS4 children
• The right to work within the UK
• The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
• All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid child workforce Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
