Due to an expansion within the department, the Headteacher and Governors are seeking an outstanding Science teacher to maintain and develop the highly successful department. The position will require the incoming Science teacher to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Full-time Science teacher, September 2019.
- Applications are urged from both experienced and newly qualified teachers of all disciplines (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) as relevant induction support will be provided.

As the incoming Science teacher you can expect to support and contribute towards the development and progression of Science, to make a significant difference to pupils teaching and learning.
You will also be required to work independently and in collaboration as part of a team within the department and greater school, alongside supporting the development of the Science curriculum. This will also involve planning, preparing and teaching to assess and secure excellent outcomes for all pupils in Science. You will also be required to demonstrate a continued commitment to raising attainment amongst all pupils across school equally.
Located on the borderline between Bolton and Bury this growing school has seen substantial consistent improvement under the guidance of its restructured Senior Leadership. The school has just over 850 pupils enrolled aged 11-16. Bolton is easily accessible via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford and Wigan. There are also various public transport options available with links across Greater Manchester.
