Join a large secondary school near Bury known for its recent climb in performance tables.

  • Full-time Science teacher.
  • To start as soon as possible on a long-term basis.
  • Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply for this position as all relevant induction support will be provided.
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£25,714- £41,604 per annum).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering Science lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning.
  • Aid pupils’ attainment alongside providing behaviour management skills.
  • Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage Three and GCSE.

The school is based in a modern building with several technology suites and laboratories.

Our client school is located near Bury and can be accessed via the M66/A56 from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Rochdale, and central Manchester. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from neighbouring areas such as Heywood, Whitefield, and Prestwich.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
