Job description

Science Teachers Required | Bolton & Bury

We are currently recruiting qualified Science Teachers for a range of exciting opportunities across Bolton and Bury. Whether you are looking for a full-time position, a long-term placement, or the flexibility of supply teaching, we have roles available to suit your preferences and experience.

We welcome applications from both ECTs and experienced Science Teachers who are passionate about inspiring young people and delivering engaging lessons. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, reliable and committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential. Strong classroom management skills, excellent subject knowledge and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues are essential.

Opportunities Available

  • Day-to-day supply teaching
  • Short-term cover assignments

Teachers undertaking full-time roles with planning, preparation and marking responsibilities will be paid in line with the appropriate teacher pay scale, depending on experience and the role. Competitive daily rates are available for supply opportunities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • Science teaching experience or specialism (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A passion for education and student achievement
