Science Teacher

Salford | Full-Time | September 2026 Onwards

A thriving secondary school in Salford is seeking a talented and motivated Science Teacher to join its dedicated teaching team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality science education and fostering a love of learning in young people.

The successful candidate will join a supportive department committed to achieving strong outcomes and providing students with an engaging and challenging curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives.
  • Uphold high expectations for behaviour, attainment and attendance.

The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting. Full time roles with planning and marking will be paid to scale.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
