Salford Secondary School | Full-Time | September 2026
A vibrant secondary school in Salford is seeking a talented and motivated Science Teacher to join its successful department from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and helping students develop a lifelong interest in Science.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan engaging learning experiences that challenge and support students of all abilities.
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback.
- Foster a positive classroom culture.
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives.
- Support students in reaching and exceeding their academic targets.
We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A commitment to raising attainment and student outcomes.
- A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
Educators will be paid based on their appropriate MPS/UPS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
