Our client secondary school in Rochdale are seeking to appoint a Science teacher on a full time basis from September 2018 to fill a permanent gap in their department.
- Full time Science teacher required, September 2018 start
- Required for permanent requirement in department
- Easily accessible from Manchester and Rochdale centre via public transport links
- Judged to be a Good school by Ofsted in late 2017
- Earn in line with your teaching scale point (MPS/UPS per annum)
This is a mixed 11-16 comprehensive secondary school based a short distance from the centre of Rochdale. The school is close to the A664 road and has a large on site car park, for those that don't drive there is a range of public transport links a short distance from the school including a nearby train station. The school was established when two local secondary schools collaborated and pooled resources, before moving into a brand new state of art building to provide exceptional facilities for all students and staff. Located in Rochdale the school serves a diverse local community with the harmonious community environment a key component to the schools recent successes and pupil behaviour described as exemplary during their most recent inspection.
The incoming Science teacher will join a large and established department within the school. Facilities and resources in the department are outstanding and the successful applicant will benefit from state of the art provisions at their disposal. The Head of Science is an Outstanding faculty leader and is happy for any level of experience, including newly qualified, teachers to apply for the post. The successful Science teacher will join a department with a track record of excellent results and a collaborative approach, enabling students to achieve their potential in Science.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
