Science Teacher

An oversubscribed school in the coastal town of Bournemouth are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and energetic Science Teacher to join a successful, popular and well-resourced science department to teach key stage 3 and 4 science.

This is a temporary position for autumn term with the option to take on a full-time contract in January 2017 for the right person. Pay is weekly and is negotiated depending on qualifications, skills and experience.

The school serves Bournemouth and the surrounding areas and was inspected by OFSTED and judged to be "good" in it's most recent inspection, including behaviour of students and leadership and management. The science department at the school is well established and housed in the newer section of the school. Pupils use excellent facilities to help develop their creativity and practical skills.

Within science all staff are approachable, very professional and support students by providing a stimulating working environment that is both challenging and rewarding. The school is well known for its traditions of excellence and aims to encourage all pupils to develop their potential to the full by setting themselves the highest standards of excellence and achievement

The school is able to support NQT's but is equally open to experienced members of staff.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
