Qualified Science Teacher
Location: Wolverhampton, Secondary Schools
Start Date: Autumn Term 2025
Salary: MPS/ UPS (dependent on experience)
About the role:
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Science Teacher to join one of our partner schools in the Wolverhampton area. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Role Responsbilites:

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Science (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics depending on specialism).

Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with curriculum requirements.

Support students of varying abilities, ensuring that all learners make progress.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policy.

Contribute to the wider Science department, attending meetings and participating in planning.

Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to pupils, parents and colleagues.
Role Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge in Science and the ability to teach across KS3–KS4.

Previous UK teaching experience is highly desirable.
-
A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
