Job description

A well-established secondary school in Weymouth is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time position, offering the chance to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and forward-thinking department.

The school has a strong reputation for providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment where both students and staff can thrive. The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring young people to develop a curiosity for science and an understanding of the world around them through engaging and thought-provoking lessons.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (specialism welcomed but not essential)
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and effective teaching strategies
  • Be passionate about helping students achieve their full potential
  • Be a team player with a positive and proactive approach
  • Be committed to contributing to the wider life of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
