Science Teacher- ASAP Start- Pay to scale- Solihull, B92- Full Time

 

Teaching Personnel are in close collaboration with a fantastic, thriving secondary school based in the heart of Solihull to appoint a dedicated science teacher on a full time basis.

The school prides itself on diversity, equality and building positive relationships.

 

Important details:

Hours: Full time, Mon-Fri (term-time only)

Rate of pay: To scale (MPS/UPS)

Location: B92, Solihull

Job Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science or equivalent teaching qualification

Specialise in one science but confident in delivering all 3 specialisms, Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Plan engaging, motivating science lessons to a range of year groups and abilities, adapting these to suit all learners within your classroom

Excellent subject and curriculum based knowledge

Fantastic school-based references 

Confident with full planning & marking responsibilities

A range of positive experiences teaching Science within the UK

Dominant classroom presence and strong behaviour management techniques

The ability to engage classes of all year groups and plan lessons to suit the individual needs within those classes

ECTs/NQTs are also encouraged to apply!

We are seeking someone who can not only deliver amazing science lessons but also actively contribute to wider extra curricular activities whether this be STEM club or open evenings.
