We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time Science Teacher to join our team starting from the October half term. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of delivering A-level lessons. You will play a key role in helping students understand and appreciate the wonders of the natural world, fostering their scientific knowledge and inquiry skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that cover the National Curriculum, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Engage and motivate students, helping them to develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts and practical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to ensure continued academic growth.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and active participation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the Science curriculum.
- Participate in school activities, including parent evenings, extracurricular clubs, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- A degree in a Science-related subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level, with a strong grasp of the GCSE curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for science education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- The ability to inspire students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
