Job description

Are you a dedicated Science Teacher with QTS looking for a rewarding full-time role where your work genuinely changes lives? We are recruiting an enthusiastic educator to join a highly regarded college setting in the Ringwood area, teaching learners aged 8 to 18.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a supportive environment, excellent resources and a strong focus on personalised learning. This welcoming and forward-thinking college is known for its inclusive ethos, calm learning environment and outstanding staff support. Teaching is highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on creativity, communication and individual progress. Staff are valued, well supported and encouraged to grow professionally.

You will be working with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), delivering engaging and accessible Science lessons adapted to meet a wide range of learning and communication needs.

 

The Role

  • Working hours: 9am to 4.30pm

  • Teaching students aged 8 to 18

  • Planning and delivering practical, differentiated Science lessons

  • Working closely with support staff and wider professionals

 

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A flexible, patient and inclusive teaching approach

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Must be able to drive due to the rural location

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
