Science Teacher – SEMH, PMLD & SLD (Full-Time)
Start Date: February 2026 (Post Half Term) | Ringwood | Permanent
Later start date negotiable to accommodate the right educator
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Science Teacher to work with learners aged 8–18 in a specialist education setting. This is a full-time position, working 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. The role offers flexibility on start date, beginning after February half term 2026, with scope to agree a later start.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver adapted and engaging Science lessons

Use practical and sensory-based approaches where appropriate

Support learners’ academic, emotional and social development

Work closely with support staff and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
-
Minimum 6 months childcare experience, especially supporting children with SEN needs
-
Experience teaching or supporting learners with complex needs is highly desirable
-
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the rural location

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
