Job description

Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher with QTS looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking an inspiring educator to join a highly supportive and well-respected specialist college setting in the Ringwood area, working with learners aged 8 to 18.

This is a full-time role with an immediate start, offering the opportunity to be part of a warm, values-driven environment where staff collaboration and student wellbeing are at the heart of everything.

This outstanding provision is known for its calm, inclusive and nurturing atmosphere, with a strong focus on individual progress and holistic development. You will be teaching students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), delivering engaging and accessible English lessons tailored to individual abilities, communication styles and learning needs.

 

The Role

  • Working hours: 9am to 4.30pm

  • Teaching English across 8 to 18 age range

  • Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons

  • Working closely with support staff and therapists to meet learner needs

 

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices

  • Patient, flexible and compassionate approach

  • Ability to drive, due to the rural location

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
