Have you recently completed your teacher training and looking for your first Science Teaching Role?
Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of an outstanding Secondary School, located in Redditch, who are looking to appoint a qualified Science Teacher from January 2026 until the end of the academic year!
The ideal candidate is an inspiring and knowledgeable Science educator who is passionate about helping students understand the world through inquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking. They bring strong subject expertise in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or general science, and are skilled at differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
They create dynamic, hands-on lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love of scientific discovery. The ideal candidate is confident using a range of teaching strategies, technology tools, and real-world applications to deepen understanding. They maintain high expectations while providing a supportive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
What do you need to be successful?:
Will hold a UK QTS and have a minimum of 6 months work experience as a teacher in the UK.

Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or general science)

Ability to design engaging, hands-on, and inquiry-based lessons

Effective classroom management and the ability to build positive student relationships

Skill in differentiating instruction to support diverse learning needs

Confidence using technology and digital tools to enhance learning

Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues

Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and safe learning environment

Willingness to collaborate within a team-oriented school culture

A reflective, growth-minded approach to teaching and professional development

Organizational skills and the ability to manage planning, assessment, and reporting effectively

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
