Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time supply science teacher to join our dynamic team. This role involves teaching and delivering engaging science lessons across different grades, ensuring that students achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality science lessons (biology, chemistry, and physics) in line with the school’s curriculum.
- Creating and implementing detailed lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
- Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assessing and evaluating student progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
- Using and maintaining laboratory equipment and resources effectively.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest teaching methods and scientific knowledge.
Qualifications:
- A degree in education or a science-related field.
- Valid teaching certification.
- Previous teaching experience, particularly in science subjects, is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
