Job description

Are you an inspiring Science Teacher looking to make a real difference?

We are a warm, welcoming school nestled in a residential part of Oldham, just a short drive from the M60 and easily accessible by public transport. Our students are curious, lively and eager to learn – and they deserve a teacher who will help them discover a love for science.

We are currently looking for a Science Teacher (KS3/KS4) to join us from October half term to cover a maternity leave for two terms, with potential for extension. You’ll be part of a supportive department that shares resources, ideas, and a commitment to high-quality teaching.

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)

  • Someone with a passion for Biology, Chemistry, or Physics

  • A team player with strong classroom presence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
