Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Tutors to support students across Nottinghamshire. If you have a strong background in Science and want to help learners build confidence and improve their understanding, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role
You’ll work closely with students at various levels, delivering tailored science lessons that inspire curiosity and boost academic performance. Whether it’s Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, your expertise will help students grasp challenging concepts and develop essential skills for success.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver engaging, personalised science lessons

  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs

  • Encourage students to build confidence and achieve their academic goals

  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to support learning development

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring Science (any specialism within Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Science, PGCE, or teaching certifications preferred

  • A flexible and patient approach to tutoring

  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills

  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
