Salary:MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
A vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in central Manchester is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacherto join their dedicated department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs)and experienced practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, following the national curriculum.

Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.

Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular STEM initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
-
UK recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
-
Subject specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
-
Ability to engage students of all abilities and adapt teaching accordingly.

Strong classroom management skills and a proactive, reflective teaching style.

Willingness to contribute to the wider school community and departmental development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
