Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Salary: £31,650.00 - £43,607.00 Annually (Actual) – Main Pay Scale
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)

Our client, a thriving academy based in Ipswich, Suffolk, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Inspire and challenge students of all abilities to achieve their full potential

  • Plan, prepare and assess work in line with departmental and school guidelines

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events

  • Uphold the school’s high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching

  • Excellent classroom management skills

  • A commitment to continuous professional development
