Role: Science Teacher

Start: January 2026

Location: Havant

Salary: MPR/UPS

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a mixed secondary academy located in Havant, seeking a teacher of science to join the department for January 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and inclusive learning community that places strong emphasis on academic achievement and character development. The successful candidate will deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to wider school initiatives and enrichment activities.  The school are seeking a teacher to join them until July 2026, but a permanent opportunity may arise for the right teacher.

Serving students aged 11 to 16, the school is committed to fostering a culture of high expectations, mutual respect, and personal responsibility. The school offers a broad and inclusive curriculum, supported by a structured learning environment and dedicated pastoral care. Staff benefit from ongoing professional development and are encouraged to collaborate and innovate in their teaching practice.

Strong behaviour management skills are advantageous, but the school also offers robust support for teachers looking to develop in this area.  The school are interested in newly qualified teachers as well as those with more experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
