Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a teacher of science, on behalf of a coeducational secondary school located in the Havant area of Hampshire, graded ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted. This is a full time role to start as soon as possible, until at least October or December 2025, with the opportunity to secure a permanent post if successful in post.
The Role:
The school is seeking a passionate Teacher of Science to join their team as soon as possible, welcoming applications from both newly qualified and experienced educators. The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, taking on the responsibility of planning and marking. Responsibilities also include delivering engaging, well-structured lessons, adapting teaching to meet diverse student needs, using assessment effectively to guide planning, and contributing to the ongoing development of the Science department. The role also involves upholding the school’s values and serving as a positive professional role model within a supportive and ambitious educational community.
What we’re looking for:
- Enthusiasm for delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Specialising in Biology, Chemistry or Physics with the ability to teach all science across KS3 and KS4.
- Desire to help pupils successfully master an ambitious science curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
