Secondary Science Teacher – Durham
Full-Time | MPS-UPS
Teaching Personnel is recruiting a vibrant, dedicated Qualified Science Teacher (QTS essential) to join an outstanding secondary school in Durham. This full-time position provides competitive daily rates (MPS/UPS), ideal for an educator prepared to create meaningful impact from the new academic year's beginning.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing dynamic and effective science instruction to secondary pupils
- Developing stimulating, positive educational environments
- Facilitating student development and success throughout the curriculum
- Working with committed colleagues to enhance the school culture
We seek candidates with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - mandatory
- Secondary Science teaching background (KS3 & KS4) or ECTs seeking their initial teaching position
- Dedication to delivering excellent, captivating lessons that ignite student interest
- Effective classroom leadership abilities and student motivation skills
- Proactive, dependable collaborative approach ready for September full-time commencement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
