We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Teacher of Science, who will enjoy working in a school that values and delivers excellent professional development. The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring students through their passion for the subject and have a firm belief in the potential of all students. You will be excellent in your classroom practice and be able to inspire others to be of a similar calibre.
Our school is an oversubscribed 11-16 student community situated in Colne on the border between Lancashire, North and West Yorkshire. We are easily accessible and whilst some of our current staff are local, many also travel from Preston and the Ribble Valley, Keighley, Bradford and the surrounding areas.
You will need to:
• Be ambitious in your determination to ensure all our learners achieve and develop their full potential
• Be inspirational in the classroom
• Be able to provide engaging and creative learning experiences for all pupils
• Be able to develop independent enquiry in pupils
• Be committed to assisting pupils in overcoming barriers to learning
• Have high expectations and a commitment to the wider school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
