A “Good” School with excellent facilities in the Woodford/Chigwell area are looking to recruit a Science Teacher to start ASAP. This opportunity has come up due to promotion of the existing Science Teacher in the department. Although this is initially on a Temporary basis, this could become permanent for the correct candidate.
Applications are welcome from fully qualified Science Teachers (QTS) who can effectively deliver these subjects across the secondary age range up to KS4.
The successful candidate must have;
- A track record of teaching all 3 Sciences within the curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
- An excellent knowledge and understanding of the value of using progress data on pupil performance to inform teaching and learning will be integral to driving student performance and attainment, along with delivering effective outcomes for all.
- Be a qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Have excellent inter-personal and organisational skills.
- Be an effective classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management (especially when students are undergoing a practical task) and committed to ensuring all students succeed and fulfil their potential.
- Be able to demonstrate a range of innovative teaching and learning strategies.
This role is initially on a temporary basis and could become permanent for the right candidate.
