Science Teacher

Join the Science department of a large Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school, known for consistent climbs in the performance tables.

• Full-time Science teacher.
• Required from January 2021 or earlier if possible, on an ongoing basis.
• Supporting pupils aged 11-16, teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
• Paid to teaching scale point (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604).
• Secondary school based in Bury.

Due to a restructure in the timetable, our client secondary school are currently looking to recruit an additional teacher to join the Science department. The incoming teacher will be working with pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, teaching a full timetable alongside planning and preparing dynamic lessons to suit the needs of pupils at varying levels of learning.

The successful candidate should have previous experience teaching Science up to GCSE level. Applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers are being considered. Our client school provides excellent behavioural support alongside the opportunity to embark on a number of training courses to improve skills further.

Our client school is located in Bury and can be accessed via the M66 and A56 from the surrounding areas such as Bolton, Rochdale and Prestwich. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from neighbouring areas of Bury town centre.
