Science Teacher – Secondary School – Bournemouth
Full-Time | Permanent or Long-Term | September 2025 Start

Are you a passionate and qualified Science Teacher looking for your next challenge in a supportive and forward-thinking school? Teaching Personnel is working closely with a reputable secondary school in Bournemouth to recruit a Science Teacher for a September 2025 start. This role is available as a permanent or long-term placement, depending on your preference and experience.

We are seeking an enthusiastic educator with strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons that engage and challenge students

  • Plan and adapt schemes of work to meet the needs of all learners

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback

  • Contribute to a positive learning environment and uphold school policies

  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department and across the wider school community

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • A commitment to continuous professional development
