Job description

Are you a passionate Science teacher with QTS looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people?

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient individual to join a Secondary  school based on the East side of Birmingham.

This is a full-time position, starting in September 2025, with working hours from 8.30am to 3:30pmpm, Monday to Friday.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching secondary Science (KS3/KS4)

  • A strong understanding of SEMH or experience in an alternative provision setting (preferred but not essential)

  • A flexible, empathetic, and patient approach to teaching

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
