Food Technology Teacher – September 2025 Start
Location: Birmingham

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a Ofsted 'OUTSTANDING' secondary school? Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate educator to join a strong and supportive team, delivering a dynamic mastery-based curriculum that rigorously prepares students by developing a wide range of skills and knowledge necessary for success across the key stages.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT who is committed to inspiring students in the field of Food Technology. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students to develop their practical and theoretical understanding, and contributing to a department that values creativity, innovation, and excellence in teaching.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.

  • Ability to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • A passion for engaging students in hands-on learning and developing their culinary and nutritional understanding.

  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

  • A team player who is eager to contribute to the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
